At the recent Institute for Continuing Legal Education Institute for Continuing Legal Education 3rd Annual Solo & Small Firm Institute, Randy Dean led a very well received session of his conference program Finding an Extra Hour Every Day. The ICLE Solo & Small Firm Institute is a conference that had more than 400 attendees in 2006, and is designed to provide continuing education for smaller law firms in the areas of firm management, staff development, hiring, training, recruiting, productivity development, as well as many very practical programs on best in class legal/client strategies.

Following the program, Randy was contacted by the conference organizers with the information that he was considered one of the top three or four presenters at this year's conference, with several conference attendees naming him as the top speaker. ICLE immediately requested Randy's presence at their joint conference with the Michigan Bar Association in October of 2007, where he will deliver two programs - a repeat of his "Finding an Extra Hour" Program, and also his very popular "Taming the E-mail Beast" program. On a scale of 7, with 7 being "excellent", Randy's program received a rating of 6.62 on "Presentation" and 6.67 on "Material Content" by program attendees. Some of the anonymous comments from program attendees include: "Very humorous and informative." "Entertaining even to a person who is highly organized." "Very fast paced, enjoyable, and informative. Was a very pleasant 45 minutes." "This guy is amazing and very helpful. Everyone should take this." Randy was even hired by one of the attending law firms following his presentation to lead a staff training and consult on the effective use of time and identifying time wasters and distractions in a law office setting.
