| Randy Dean, of Randall Dean Consulting & Training, provided a very highly-rated time and project management training program to a group of Evening and Full-Time MBA candidates at the Katz Graduate School of Business, University of Pittsburgh, in two separate sessions taking place on November 4 and 5, 2004. The students reported very high satisfaction with the program, will 53% of the participants rating the program as "Excellent", and 95% rating the program as "above average" or "excellent". Cathy Vargo, Assistant Dean for MBA Programs for the Katz School, had this to say about the program: "Outstanding. Interesting, thorough, and practical. Big picture – little picture. I’m leaving here feeling motivated and optimistic. We’ve provided some excellent insights to the students." She continued on to say, "Even though they (the students) are generally classed-out, you kept their attention for the entire two + hours! Thank you!" Said one student, "I really enjoyed it! Randy shows you how to use the tools necessary to make anyone a successful time manager. Thank you for covering so much so quickly.!" (You can read more quotes from previous seminar attendees by clicking here.)
Per a request from Cathy Vargo, Randy customized his training program for the U. Pittsburgh students to take them through a process on how to set up day planners that the University provided to the students on a cost-share agreement. This allowed many of the students to leave that day with a functional time management/personal organization tool to assist them with the rigors of their graduate studies. The training program still hit on recommendations on how to best utilize other time management devices, though, including PDAs and other systems.
Randy will next be sharing his time and project management program with Weekend MBAs at the Broad Graduate School of Business, Michigan State University, later in November. |
